Kidz4Kolor Workshops

Kidz4kolor workshops are designed for children ages 8-15. This workshop gives children a chance to do something few will ever do - study art with a professional artist. I do kidz4kolor workshops in homes, at parties, and at schools - wherever there are kids who are eager to learn something new. Most kids want to learn to draw or paint and we can have a lot of fun doing it. 

In fact, I've been to both of my daughters' childrens' schools several times in the last few years to do these workshops. And the kids always love it.

A typical (non-school day) kidz4kolor workshop will run for about 4 hours. The children will usually take home two completed paintings.

My emphasis is not so much on "drawing" or "painting" as it is on "seeing." My goal is to teach them professionally so they can begin to think in terms of a professional. I often tell my students "If you want to learn how to paint, buy a book. If you want to learn how to see, then I can help you." Kidz4kolor workshops are a lot of fun, but I work hard to get the best out of each child.
